Kids Advanced

Open to colored belts ages 7-13 (with instructor’s permission)

Our Kids Advanced Class is ideal for the motivated student who wants to focus on competitive Jiu Jitsu. Professor Kawika leads these young athletes to have a healthy attitude, set goals, overcome adversity, and take pride in their accomplishments. Students continue to be challenged as they master detailed techniques; building strength, self confidence, and determination. They develop a strong mindset as they learn about competitive jiu jitsu, point systems and strategies. This team travels off-island, representing Roma Jiu Jitsu Academy at tournaments across the State and on the mainland.

Open Mat

Open Mat provides a great opportunity for students to get some extra training time in. You can drill techniques that you learned in class that week, meet students from other classes, or simply spar with a training partner.
